Furthermore, with our KM Heavy Duty Kits and High Performance Clutch Kits, we offer two replacement alternatives that represent the best possible balance between driving comfort and cost effectiveness.
In the form of the HD kits, KM offers a reliable aftermarket alternative to the dual mass flywheel. A perfectly coordinated combination of a rigid flywheel and clutch disc with torsion damper guarantees excellent vibration damping with the customary high degree of driving comfort. In order to protect the gearbox, torsion dampers tuned specifically to the engine are used in the HD kit. The torsional vibrations generated by the engine are filtered out in all driving conditions, noise is reduced and the service life of the clutch is prolonged by means of low-wear clutch linings.
No special tools are required for retrofitting KM HD kits. This enables swift and professional conversion. New fixing screws, KM high-performance grease and specialist installation instructions are enclosed to ensure straightforward replacement.
KM also supplies the HD kits as short kits. The enormous benefit: The previously installed rigid flywheel can be re-used when the clutch is replaced. This means that only the clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing need to be exchanged.
The HPC kits from KM are a high-quality aftermarket alternative to self-adjusting clutches (SACs). The advantages of HPC kits include quick and easy fitting, because no special tools are required to install them. So now there is no need to secure the clutch pressure plate without applying a counterforce. This not only significantly reduces the time required, but also the risk of incorrect installation.
Special clutch linings ensure that the HPC kits from KM enjoy a long service life, while meeting the customers' demands for comfort.

KM supplies a wide range of clutch kits for the "Big 7" European commercial vehicle manufacturers, thereby guaranteeing swift implementation of customers' needs. Each of the 160-plus clutch kits includes installation instructions for professional repairs and high-performance clutch grease to prevent faults caused by use of the incorrect lubricant.
KM supplies a comprehensive range of pressure plates. Their clamp load is perfectly tuned to the torque generated by truck engines and guarantees ideal power transmission from engine to gearbox. KM supplies 120 pressure plates in all customary diameters up to 430 mm.
KM ensures optimum driving comfort with its 175 clutch discs manufactured to the highest quality standards. Torsion dampers with chrome-silicone springs tuned specifically to the condition of the vehicle ensure reliable vibration isolation and a long service life – even under extreme loads.
The KM product range is supplemented with 75 release bearings and 7 concentric slave cylinders. Only ball bearings of the highest quality are used. These ensure reliable and sustained operational performance of the clutch.
